My mother and step-dad are two dog breeders.  They breed high quality competitive conformation Petite Basset Griffon Vendeens (www.polygor.com).  I grew up surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember.  The dogs come first, the dogs eat first, the dogs are our life.  I now continue this tradition with my own family.  My husband is doggie-person by marriage and a true animal lover.  My son is my biggest helper, my enthusiastic assistant and an animal lover with every bone in his body.  To him, our life is very normal, but to others the life of a dog breeder and AKC conformation dog presenter is very different.

The dogs are amazing, they are never judgmental, they do not care if I do not have make up on or if I forget to brush my hair.  They love me the moment I roll out of bed, the second I walk in the door and every moment I am away.  They are unconditionally loving and innocent as a sweet child.  Dogs deserve protection from harm, love every day, exercise, good nutrition and positive reinforcement training.  My dogs are raised in-house.  They only see the yard to go potty and to run and play.  They are family members and that will never change.

All of my dogs and puppies are house dogs.  All dogs and puppies sold are to be house dogs.  Please call anytime, we must speak on the phone to start building our relationship!  I love questions, please ask me as many questions as you like.

All puppies sold on contracts; pets sold on limited registration and show dogs on co-ownerships only.  3 year genetic health guarantee on all puppies, stated in the contract.  All puppies are sold micro-chipped, up to date on shots and with a current health certificate.

Standard Poodles are very smart, stunning, and entertaining dogs to live with; once you own your first Standard you will never be able to live without one.  They are people in fur.  They anticipate your next move, they are forever watching you, and they are loving and always willing to please.  They only thing "fluffy" about them are their fur.  They like to run, play, swim, and protect the family.  They must have exercise to be happy and healthy.  They do not shed, do not produce dog dander and therefore are hypoallergenic.  They do grow their hair everywhere and must be groomed regularly.

Whippets are loving, energetic, attentive, and the fastest couch potato ever bred.  They fall into your lap for love and affection.  They are hounds and therefore are independent and can have their own agenda at times.  My Whippets love children, other dogs, and cats.  They have very short fur and shed only about twice a year.  Their fur is so short that it rarely produces a mess of hair on the floor to be swept up.  They are pack dogs and generally you need more than one Whippet for them to be happy.  They do not need to be groomed and are easy to bathe, they dry in 30 seconds.  My puppies have their nails grinded weekly and are great for their toe trims.

I can be seen regularly at local dog shows.  I present Trezlar dogs and dogs I own or have bred only.  My years as an all breed professional dog handler are behind me.  I like being able to focus on my Trezlar lines only and also have time to socialize with other doggie friends and socialize my up and coming star puppies.  I do not charge to show a dog that I have bred.  I expect the new owners to complete the grooming and traveling and help at the dog shows but I do not accept money for walking in the ring.  It is a fun and exciting endeavor, if you are or ever have been interested in dog shows I would be willing to work with you and teach you the ropes of the shows.  I also offer free grooming lessons to anyone who buys a dog from me.  I love to teach others my grooming skills and think it is a nice way to bond with your dog.  I also enjoy teaching Junior Handlers.  I have taught many and if you start with a Trezlar dog I would be willing to work with your child or grandchild to see if they love showing as much as I do.  Junior handling starts at 9 years old at the AKC shows and ends at 18.  Whippets and Standard Poodles make great Junior’s dogs.  Every dog that I sell is a relationship started.  I look forward to getting to know you!!!
